Canvas – Believe in magic

Hi,

this canvas is for Designer’s Faves” Challenge – Finnabair challenge “Go for the gold!”. I wanted to show you that you do not need many embellishment to create mixed media project. All what I needed for my canvas were old plastic beads in different sizes NO MORE, really!

Canvas has got 18x24cm. I apply through stencil raindrops – structure paste than I applied black gesso all over it, than I prepared stencil for drops in 4 sizes – just from piece of card stock. Through stencil I applied 3D matte gel, for some parts of drops I used also Golden glass bead gel. Than I glued to every drop different beads. I cover everything with white gesso and than I played ok hours with gold art alchemy paint and with Gansai Tambi starry colours watercolours and with Tattered Angel Dragonfly glimmer mist. Sentiment is from 7 dots studio. White and black details are made with Derwent graphic pens.

The hardest part was to take photo of it. It is so black and shiny! That I really did not know how to arrange it.

Mixed media canvas – Big heart

I am not so strong in mixed media but I am trying it, experimenting and I love it! This video shows step by step how I made mini canvas for Canvas Corp Brands. Its size is 4inchx4inch. Mixed media is always great fun.

Pink and Main February release blog hop

For my project, I created shaped card with super cute stamp set – Scentsational (and coordinating dies). For background I used white card stock and I die cut it with Scallop Circle Dies, with smalled die I cut smaller flower shape from new patterned paper – from Spring Flings paper pad. All images are stamped with Versa fine onyx black ink and coloured with Kuretake Clean Color Real Brush markers. For final touch I added pink twine.

DAYDREAMER – canvas

Hi,

this canvas is for January Challenge – Monochromatic at 7 dots studio.

Creating of this canvas was really adventure. I wanted to have canvas in brown or grey tones but I accidentally took spray which looked like dark and it was dark purple. So I changed plans and made this monochromatic canvas 🙂 Next time I really need to check my spray swatch! But on the other side I really like how canvas looks like in purple. I made canvas also for my studio, I have quite big studio with plenty of white space on walls so I decided to make more art to decorate it.

Photo is of our younger dog – sharpei Dobby, that was the first day when we bough him, he was sleeping in small basket. So cute puppy! (Now he is 6months and still so cute 🙂 )

Size is 18x24cm.

medias: Finnabair – heavy gesso, matt medium, texture paste white sand, modeling paste

Golden – glass bead gel, extra couarse pumice gel

sprays: Tattered Angels – afraid of the dark, chalkboard – iron, Ranger – distress mica spray

embellishment – what I found in stash – buttons, rest of some chipboards, some heavy embellishment from hardware shop, many hand made flowers from light Deco clay, some resin roses, some beads, iron wire, zipper ….

papers: 7 dots studio – Writer’s block – I had to paint papers with purple colour to match my canvas 🙂

Spread your wings – canvas

Hi,

this canvas was made for scrapki-wyzwaniowo challenge February 2017 – Brush.

Size of canvas is 18x24cm. I used lot of different embellishments like paper flowers, hand made flowers from Deco clay by Claycraft, of course different brushes which I broke in half and other, tiny bottle by La blanche. Stencils Prima Marketing, TCW. Medias are all by Finnabair – heavy gesso, matt medium, texture paste white sand, art alchemy paint. Just glass bead gel and Extra coarse pumice gel is by Golden.

All colours were made with sprays Tattered Angels – woven burlap, kiwi, dragonfly – glimmer mists, and chalkboard – iron.

Sentiment sticker is 7 dots studio.
