Christmas cards and more for Pink and Main

Hi,

today I have blog post full of inspiration. I prepared my last Christmas cards and also one with new awesome release!

The first card is shaped card as usually I used Stitched Circle Dies. My first layer is patterned paper – from Jolly 6×6 Paper Pad – this one is for this season really “must have” so great papers to create christmas cards. Second layer is just red card stock and I stamped Christmas Script stamp with WOW embossing ink and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. And because I had quite nice rest of paper I made bow with Medium Bow Dies.

My second card is shaker card. I worked with Frosty 6×6 Paper Pad I choose 2 patterned paper one with chevron and one with snowflakes. Basic shape is made with Stitched Rounded Square Dies. Sentiment Christmas Script is stamped with Versa Fine Onyx Black ink. There are blue and white micro beads. And of course I made bow with Medium Bow Dies just because I love bow dies!

My last card is made with new release. I really played with many new products. So base is made from kraft paper and Stitched Circle Dies. Than I stamped with Distress Oxide Walnut Stain different motives from Genie Boy stamp set and Genie girl stamp set. For adding more interest I used Four Point Stars Stencil – I applied white pigment ink with small sponge dabber, my ink was too juicy so my background looks really like mixed media one. But no worries sometimes are mistakes really interesting at the end. Main image is stamped with black ink and coloured with Kuretake watercolour markers. Than I used Genie Boy Dies. Sentiment is from Genie boy stamp set and it is stamped with Distress oxide ink – Walnut stain.

Have a nice day and see you next week

Mixed media cards for MixedUp Mag

Hi,
I would like to share with you really sparkling christmas cards. They are little bit unusual because for decorating I used only florist materials – plastic and foam flowers and leaves, tiny ornaments and tiny plastic cones.
For the base, I took green and red cardstock. Through Tim Holtz stencils I applied awesome Soft Form Paste by Colourcraft and when the paste was still wet I applied glitters (if you see little bit of blur in my photos they are not blurry they are so glittery that my poor camera was not able to make a good picture!).
Then with my glue gun I created a focal point from different embellishments. It was just easy gluing according to my fantasy.
And best part was adding interest. With ExpandIT paste I made snowflakes on one card, for another I used Decoart Snow Pen. I also played with Finnabair’s waxes (white gold, old silver).
And the final step was to make tons of splatters. I used Shimmer gold and Shimmer silver acrylic sprays by Colourcraft and white Ecoline watercolour. I made for you many photos so you can see that even with a small amount of materials you can create really nice Christmas cards.

Cards for Frantic Stamper

Hi,

I would like to share with you 2 cards with Russian motives. When I was creating them I wanted both to have elegant so I choose white-gold combination. For my first card (it is mini card)  I used new St.Basil Cathedral die and Handwritten background stamp. All gold details are made with Versa mark ink and Versa mark embossing pen and gold embossing powder. To make frame I used Stitched Square Frames.

For my second card I used square – rest of my first card – for background. From white paper I die cut Russian Nesting Dolls. I have to say that these dolls are really unique. All dies are very intricate but I wanted to stay in gold white combination so I let them white.
