Mixed media cards for MixedUp Mag

Hi,
I would like to share with you really sparkling christmas cards. They are little bit unusual because for decorating I used only florist materials – plastic and foam flowers and leaves, tiny ornaments and tiny plastic cones.
For the base, I took green and red cardstock. Through Tim Holtz stencils I applied awesome Soft Form Paste by Colourcraft and when the paste was still wet I applied glitters (if you see little bit of blur in my photos they are not blurry they are so glittery that my poor camera was not able to make a good picture!).
Then with my glue gun I created a focal point from different embellishments. It was just easy gluing according to my fantasy.
And best part was adding interest. With ExpandIT paste I made snowflakes on one card, for another I used Decoart Snow Pen. I also played with Finnabair’s waxes (white gold, old silver).
And the final step was to make tons of splatters. I used Shimmer gold and Shimmer silver acrylic sprays by Colourcraft and white Ecoline watercolour. I made for you many photos so you can see that even with a small amount of materials you can create really nice Christmas cards.
