Theme for card concept is butterflies. I made many card with them so I wanted to try something different. I have very nice but quite dark papers from Santoro London collection Mirabelle, amazing papers but very difficult to use. I decided to make dark thank you card.
On my Silhouette cameo I cut out butterfly and with 4 different color box inks I tried to make the same colour as it is on paper which i choose. On color box ink I added clear embossing powder to make butterfly more interesting. I cut also from nice light slightly pearl peppermint card stock leaves and also leaves from vellum. With small butterfly punch I made mini butterflies just to add little bit romantic to the dark card.
I must say that it was very tricky for creating but I love this card! Sentiment is also flying in air as butterflies. Paper is very beautiful and big butterfly is unusual.
