Card – Happy birthday

Do you like butterflies? I do, so nice and funny to say decorative insect. For todays card I used background stamp from Hero arts and just basic butterflies made with classic punch.
For butterflies I choose these four Distress inks. I applied them onto my craft sheet and little bit sprayed with water and took peace of white card stock to apply ink. Easy classic distress technique.
Than I dried card stock with heat gun.

And I used two sizes of butterfly punch.
Now its time to create background.
Before stamping I usually use antistatic bag.
I stamped Hero Arts background stamp with clear VersaMark embossing ink and used white embossing powder.
My card stock is little bit bigger than card base because I will cut it .
Again I used above mentioned Distress inks to make background.
Sentiment HappyBirthday I stampte onto card base – it is kraft card base. I used again my VersaMark and white embossing powder.
Prepared background I cut onto rectangle and glued onto base.
I used my pencil glue to glue butterflies. I love 3D effect of their wings. So I applied glue only in the middle of them.
And here it is. I just added few drops made with liquid pearls and enamel accents white.

Second half of base I used for white card, I like it even more what do you think?

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial.
Have a nice day
Kate
