Canvas for ScrapFX

Hi,

I am here again with mixed media canvas. And yes again with our younger dog. You know dogs are really great object for photographing, they are cute and funny and so friendly. I have tons of dogs photos in my iPhone, we have 2 sharpeis. And this is Dobby almost 2 years old boy.

Canvas is 25x25cm, I glued over whole canvas scrapbook paper and covered it with clear gesso, to prepare paper for mediums. Than I applied paper texture paste over stencil. I stamped with white ink branches, and I made splatters. I took all chipboards and applied acrylic spray – turquoise and silver. And I adhered everything together. Just some steps and canvas is ready. Mixed media do not have to be complicated all the time. With nice material you can make simple but interesting project.

Layout and cards for ScrapFX

Hi,

I would like to share with you two different projects. One mixed media layout and simple cards. Layout is quite simple – at background I used stencil with Nuvou mousse which is very interesting creamy paste, than I applied black and brown Distress oxide inks through the same stencil. I made some stamping. I build cluster behind photo, glued everything together and made splatters. Sentiment is coloured also with Distress oxide ink. For layout you do not need to have tons of material just take what you have at home, add some nice chipboards and you have it!

Cards are super simple, the first one is long rectangle card when main focal point is funny sportsman at bicycle. Second one is more decorative and focal point is there transparency image.

Layout for ScrapFX

Hi,

I would like to share with you my romantic layout. There is our sharpei Dobby, he is really great object to take photos of and great to make projects with. I used newest Prima Marketing papers and flowers. There is awesome Arrow C Graphic chipboard at background and Captured Memories Mini sentiment – I heat embossed them with white embossing powder. Instead of background stamping I used my favourite Script transparency. All colours at background are made with Color Philosophy dye inks which I diluted with water.

Canvas and cards for ScrapFx

Hi,

I would like to share with you two projects today, romantic canvas and cards.

Canvas is very easy I applied Paper paste with Mark Makinb B Vees stencil. Than I lightly sprayed background with Tattered Angels Glimmer mists sprays and used white gesso to light it. At photo there is my hubby and our puppy sharpei Dobby (it is almost 2 years ago). I fussy cut many roses from Prima paper. At background there are chipboards – Sketchy triangles and Flourish L diamond – which I heat embossed with white embossing powder, the same I did with sentiment Imperfect Photos Perfect Memories.

For my cards I used the newest Prima Marketing papers. I made longer very layered cards. For their background I used Mini Flourishes chipboards which I heat embossed with white embossing powder. I like tiny chipboards they add even more interesting to my projects.

Have a nice day

Layout and art journal for ScrapFX

Hi,

today I have for you 2 projects, layout with our younger dog sharpei Dobby and art journal.

For my layout I used Prima marketing papers and ephemera and dies and flowers. At background I used awesome ScrapFX stencil – Script phrase stencil. I also used Number collage small stencil and  Sweet memories frame. I love to work with ScrapFX transparencies and here I used Alphabet collage transparency. Colours are made with Colourcraft acryclic shimmer sprays and for white splatters I used white acrylic paint. It is quite simple layered layout.

At my art journal I played with Distress oxide inks (Vintage photo, Walnut stain, Fossilized amber, Black soot). For background I used structure paste (I tried new Finnabair Plaster paste it is quite cool paste with nice effect on paper) and Script phrase stencil. Instead of stamping I used transparencies – Alphabet collage transparency and Script transparency. All paper ephemera are from Tim Holtz. I think that with this art journal I really step away from my comfort zone but I love final page. That oxide effect from Distress oxides makes it really interesting.

Have a nice day
