Hi,
I would like to share with you my easy mixed media notebook cover. I used awesome Summer feelings paper – Yacht and bright blue wood as base. I covered it with clear gesso, than I painted chipboard (wave made by Scrap FX) with acrylic paints. Than I die cut different sea critters (Frantic Stamper dies) from patterned paper from Summer feelings paper pad. I also used starfish from Studio Light Summer Feelings Delux Crafters Kit with Sea Jewels.
I glued everything, applied Tattered Angels glimmer mists (Dragonfly, Electric blue). Here and there I applied 3D matte gel and mini art stones by Finnabair. Finally I made splatters with white Ecoline watercolour.
So I hope you will be inspired even for mixed media you do not need tons of different embellishments just use dies which you have from cardmaking or scrapbooking.
